My motorcycle diaries…

Rode again tonight. 72 degrees and beautiful. Headed north and came back by way of I-94. It was my first time on the freeway and, of course, first time getting the speedometer up to 85. Nice. A bit windy, but it was amazing—the wind, the freedom, the bugs on the visor. I’m ready to go again. I like this bike more than I ever imagined. Of course, I haven’t had any close calls with cars darting out in front of me or idiots riding my tail lights, but so far so good. Unfortunately, I probably won’t get the chance to ride for a couple weeks. I’ll be in New York for a conference this weekend and half of next week and the Wings are now in the playoffs, so every other day is a game. Oh well, this will give Spring more of a chance to settle in.
