Last year when Justin Verlander threw his no-hitter I was supposed to be at that game. I used to do the play-by-play for MLB.com and would have done that game but I was out of town for a conference.

So today, when I tune in and hear that Verlander is into the fourth inning without allowing a hit, I wonder am I going to miss a second Verlander no-hitter????

Verlander ended up giving up some hits and, unfortunately, some runs as the Tigers lost their season opener , 5-4.
